Sales Account Manager (m/f/d) Roofs

Responsibilities

  • Regional sales responsibility for specific customers
  • Provide leadership, supervision and direction to Account Managers
  • Identify and implement successful sales strategies that will fulfill sales and financial objectives
  • Create customer awareness of Roof Systems products and their competitive advantages
  • Maintain exceptional level of customer satisfaction that exceeds expectations
  • Identify and build relationship with key customer decision making personnel
  • Maintain and update competitive information. Identify competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and develop appropriate strategy to overcome
  • Interact with Roof Systems business units to achieve goals and objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in Engineering or equivalent education
  • Fluently in English and French
  • At least 5 years combined international automotive experience in customer interface positions i.e. Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, Account Manager, Program Manager and a previous Account Manager position
  • Understanding of automotive T1 products and ability to forecast market trends, along with the capability to address technical as well as commercial issues
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish strategic direction and achieve sales goals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be adept at listening to customer needs and be able to communicate those needs back to the rest of the organization
  • Preparing and delivering detailed product presentations and be able to prepare quotations
  • Negotiating prices and terms with customers and have the responsibility to book the business
  • Preparing executive summaries with program quote recommendations to management
